So everyone has obviously heard of Jessica and her "issues" with SNSD. Jessica has rumors of being engaged and getting married in May to a guy named Tyler Kwon, she was kicked from GG, ect, ect. So everyone's still unsure about what happened with Girl's Generation. Whether they wanted Jessica out, whether SM Entertainment blew themselves up again, or whether something else happened. Jessica, SM, and Tyler Kwon all released their own statements about the situation but nobody knows who is right and who is or isn't lying. Although I'm 99% sure everyone is suspecting SM Entertainment for lying and for Jessica being so amazing in all SONEs eyes, they will most likely side with her but hey, there are people on everyone's side so let's look at the statements that were released. Jessica's Statement: "Hello, this is Jessica. On September 29, I was told by my company to leave SNSD, and I couldn't hide my confusion and pain, so I decided to reveal my stance. During my time as a SNSD member, SNSD promotions have always been my top priority ahead of my personal life or business. But despite my hard work and dedication to the team, I was given notice to leave my team from the company. Since the beginning stages of the business preparations until recently, I have sufficiently discussed and received understanding from SM and the members on more than one occasion. From early August until the BLANC launching, I received agreement and permission to do business at the same time, and began my business while receiving congratulations from the members. However, a month after the launching, the members suddenly changed their stances early September and called a meeting, and without proper reason, told me to either quit my business or leave SNSD. I explained that I received permission from the company, have never carelessly carried out SNSD promotions, and cannot stop the business within one month of BLANC's launching due to a business contract with a partner. As a result, I appealed that making me choose was an unreasonable request. Becoming an SNSD member was the greatest thing in my life and I have never thought about quitting. Still shocked, I visited the company CEO on September 16 and explained my position and I received permission once again to continue my business on the side from the company at that place. However I received a one-sided notification on September 29 from the company to leave SNSD. Due to this, I was unable to participate in the fan meeting event in Shenzhen, China on September 30, which was the following day. I've been taken out of all SNSD activities. More than anything, I was greatly hurt and couldn't hide my sorrow after being told to leave SNSD by my company and members, whom I've poured out my passion and affection for more than 15 years, just because I started a business. I want to apologize for causing much worry to the fans even though it wasn't my intention to do. I want to ask for your understanding that this situation isn't something I wanted. I have always cherished SNSD and will continue to do so in the future. Thank you for always supporting me with no end and loving me." Jessica Jung October 1, 2014 Tyler Kwon Statement: " Sigh, I guess we'll have to try this yet again; I have no plans of marriage anytime soon, whether it be this year...next year... If that wasn't clear enough, let me know. I'll just keep trying..." Unlike Jessica's statement his is just about the marriage rumors about them both. SM's Statement: "Hello. This is SM Entertainment. We are offering our position on the words posted on Jessica's Weibo today. This coming spring, due to her personal situation, she notified us she will halt her team promotions with the release of one [more] album. Despite Jessica's sudden notice, the agency and the Girls' Generation members tried our best and tried to figure out a way that Girls' Generation's activities can continue in the best possible direction. However, in the midst of insufficient negotiations regarding conflicts of differences in priorities and interest, Jessica started her fashion business. Due to this, despite ongoing talks, it has come to a point where the team could not be maintained. Thus, the agency had no choice but to pull up Girls' Generation's activities as 8 members earlier than planned, and in the midst of while working out when to announce this, Jessica had posted her words early this morning. From here on, our agency will continue to support and manage the 8-member Girls' Generation and Jessica's individual activities." Now all these statements are confusing since Jessica is saying she is the victim and I'm not saying she's not, just saying that nobody but SM and Jessica and SNSD really know what's going on.
So personally, I am not really totally interested in this situation but I'm keeping updated on it because it's big news cause it's JESSICA! But we want to know what you guys think as SNSD fans, as SM Stans, as people who don't like SNSD or Jessica, ect. I hope this updated you somewhat, I will post again soon.
