I wanted to do a drama review for two reasons. The first is because I just felt like it and the second is because I really enjoyed this drama. I'll do my normal casting stuff and then talk about it more since there isn't much to spoil. I'm not saying it's uneventful but there's nothing like..."Oh he dies" in it, you know? The first couple is played by Kim Young Kwang and Kyung Soo Jin. Kim Young Kwang plays Kang Jin-Goo and Kyung Soo Jin plays Ma Se-Young. Se-Young is a foodie and loves to eat so they call her Miss Piggy. Kim Young Kwang is a playboy who likes Se-Young. They have a "past" thingy but act like it never happened and I don't think it shows the flashback part of it until like, episode six or somewhere around there. Sorry for the bad picture, for some reason I couldn't find any of them. So the second couple is Gu Kwang Soo and Joo Da In. Oh Jung Se plays Gu Kwang Soo and Yoo Da In plays Joo Da In. This couple dated, I think they were in college at the time. I'm going to say what happened when they broke up because it's what sets the whole base for their story so it's not a spoiler at all. Kwang Soo proposed to Da In and she rejected him by hitting him on the head with the bouquet flowers that he gave her. It sounds really mean and rude but you'll eventually figure out why she did it - though it does take a while to get there. A Pink's Park Chorong plays Han Soo Ah and BTOB's Yook Sungjae plays Kang Min Gu. I like this couple because Min Gu thinks Soo Ah is a junior and she is actually a student who failed her college entrance exam twice. I had no idea that Soo Ah was played by Chorong at all! I didn't recognize her and I didn't even know she was in A Pink. I just thought she looked familiar until the other day when I had Mr. Chu Choi Ro Woon plays a child star who's growing up ugly named Kang Dong Gu and Lee Chae Mi plays the girl he likes named Jang Baek Ji. I'm not big on their story line but maybe it's because they show the other three couples more. I don't know. So this drama is called Plus Nine Boys because the number nine is like bad luck. The boys are all related. Kang Dong Gu, Kang Jin-Goo and Kang Min Goo are all brothers and Gu Kwang Soo is their uncle. Kang Dong Gu is nine, Kang Jin-Goo is twenty-nine, Kang Min Goo is nineteen and Gu Kwang Soo is thirty-nine. So they are all at the "plus nine" ages. They have bad luck for the year and they have bad luck every time they come across number nine. To be honest, I had so many feels and I loved this drama a lot. The lead actors *cough* Kim Young-Kwang *cough* were so cute and I shipped the couples so much! I really recommend this drama is you wanna watch handsome (shirtless) dudes, cute couples, and funny stuff! That's all right now! It's good to be back and I'll see you later, Rice Cakes!

Wow, wow, wow! It's been a while! How are you guys? Well, sorry Sara and I haven't been posting. School started, as you all know, and I'm very tired but I also have other stuff to keep track of -Like BTS ^_^- and Sara has started college so she is busy with that and she has a job. We watched his movie the other day and I decided that since I now have a laptop, courtesy of my school, that I should do this so here I am! I am back and I may not post too often but I will post more than I have been so...Shall we begin, starting with information on this movie? This movie is rated 19+ by the way, just so some of you guys are aware and you'll understand why if you watch it! >_< I'm sure you all know this cutie. The first main cast is Kim Woo Bin! Everyone loves Kim Woo Bin, am I right or am I right? So Kim Woo Bin plays Chi Ho. He is a carefree playboy, of course. I am pretty sure he lives with his parents still but yeah. He doesn't have a job and, like I said, he is a playboy. I enjoy his character, not only because he is amazingly handsome or because he is Kim Woo Bin but also his character is funny! Chi Ho is really weird and he always wears female headbands and when he doesn't do anything during the day, he just sits. It's hilarious at a certain part and you'll know what I mean if you have seen or will see the movie. Lee Junho plays Dong Woo. Dong Woo is the character who wants to be a cartoonist. His family used to be wealthy but they went bankrupt so he works a lot of jobs throughout the movie and he goes to school for art, I think. I'm pretty sure that's what it was...Or something like that anyways. He is friends with Kyung Jae's younger sister too since she follows him around at their school. Dong Woo is a funny character too. He is really weird at random parts and yeah...I'm not sure what else to say so let's move on. Kang Ha Neul plays Kyung Jae. He is a a university student who wants to do well and get accepted into a corporate job. He is kinda awkward but he's funny too. Kyung Jae is more of a quieter kind of guy, especially around women, and when he gets drunk...Let's just say that he's not so quiet anymore. I like him. You'll watch this and if you watch the movie just cause of Kim Woo Bin or because of Lee Junho or any other reason that is not Kang Ha Neul and you are kind of meh about him, you'll end up liking him anyways. His character seems awkward and you probably will be like "Eh, he's alright" but by the end -or the beginning- you'll come to really like him, like I did. Well that's just the main three cast members cause that's really all you need to know. Personally, I really love this movie. I've only seen it once but it's so, so hilarious and it's so, so weird! You'll laugh so much watching this and I highly recommend this movie! Everyone's acting is great and there is one odd plot twist! I'm sorry this is so short by the way but I will post soon, I promise! I hope you guys enjoyed this and I hope you watch the movie Twenty because it's so amazing! Like I said, this movie is rated like 19+ and if you don't want to watch anything perverted and weird, you probably shouldn't watch this but whatever. I'm not even nineteen so...yeah! Go check it out and laugh a lot! Bye my sweet rice cakes!
I felt like doing a drama review since this drama was so good. It is called The Lover but can be translated a few different ways. I though it was going to be about some couple or something which it was, sort of. I saw a short clip of it with Sara which made us want to watch it because it was funny and it had familiar people in it, like Jung Joon Young. The Lover is about four different, and completely unrelated, couples that all live in the same apartment building. They aren't married though, they just live together. The CouplesThis is the first couple I am showing you. This is Oh Do Si (played by Oh Jung Se) and Ryu Doo Ri (played by Ryu Hyun Kyung). They are a couple who have been living together for two years and dating for five. Ryu Doo Ri is a blogger and Oh Do Si is a voice actor, they live in Room 609 and are both in their thirties. This couple is meant to be the kind that have been together for a long time and are comfortable with anything, and yes...I mean anything. They are funny with the way they nit-pick and stuff and I enjoyed watching them a lot. This is the second couple; Jung Young Joon (played by Jung Joon Young) and Choi Jin Nyeo (played by Choi Yeo Jin) are twelve years in age difference, Young Joon being younger than her. They have been dating for two years and living together for one. They live in Room 610. They are the couple with a big age gap. Jin Nyeo acts like an Ajumma and Young Joon is a musician who is unemployed. Sara liked them a lot, I did too but to be honest I liked all the couples a lot. You may not think so but yes, this is the third couple. They weren't a couple at first though. Lee Joon Jae (played by Lee Joon Jae) lived alone and needed a roommate to help pay rent and so Takuya (played by Terada Takuya) moved in. I won't say much more exept that somehow Lee Joon Jae and Takuya end up being gay for each other. They are in Room 709. This couple is obviously the gay one. They are funny too because Takuya is Japanese, he'll say something in Japanese that sounds like something inappropriate in Korean and Joon Jae will get all awkward and stuff, it's funny. I like this couple a lot because they are very cute together. Park Hwan Jong (played by Park Jong Hwan) and Ha Seol Eun (played by Ha Seol Eun) got engaged just three months after meeting and moved in together after about a year of dating. They are in room 510. They are the fast-moving couple. They were very cute together in looks and are funny. I enjoyed this drama a ton and maybe that is because it was the first one I've watched in a while but it was funny, relate-able, weird, and a really great drama. I will put a 19+ warning on this drama though because it has parts that are inappropriate and way more than you would normally see from a Korean TV show. This drama is very short though, it is only twelve episodes, which is why Sara and I watched episodes 3 to 12 in one night. I recommend this drama to anyone. Even if you are single it is recommended to you. Thank you for reading this Drama Review. Sorry I didn't say much on what happens, I didn't want to spoil it. You definately will NOT regret watching it and you will enjoy it a lot, with many laughs and maybe some tears too! ;) I'll Post again, Rice Cakes! ~Jenna
I did my 2015 Bias List but I wanted to make part 2 since that was all kpop biases and I have acting biases too so I am making this to put under out Kdrama Blog so it can make sense. Kpop biases - Kpop and Kdrama biases - Kdrama. So I will begin, I will say though, this list is shorter than the other. Lee Jong SukI have seen many of his dramas/movies but I started with Doctor Stranger when it first was airing and now I have seen many movies and Kdramas that he acts in. In 2015 alone I have started and finished Pinocchio, started The Face Reader but I couldn't finish it so I will another time and I am currently watching him in I Can Hear Your Voice with Sara. I really enjoy his acting in I Hear Your Voice because it is really amazing and how he makes his character feel real is great as well. I have seen a lot ~Like I mentioned I have earlier ~but his acting is a lot better than his other dramas. Kim Young KwangNext is ~Obviously ~Kim Young Kwang. He just kind of plays a small character in a lot so I just kinda end up seeing him in stuff until his bigger stuff like Pinocchio, Plus Nine Boys, Hot Young Bloods, ect. I haven't finished a couple things he is in like Plus Nine Boys or the Good Doctor but I will....One day. In 2015 I have watched him in Hot Young Bloods ~Which I started in October 2014 so I finished it after like months! ~and I have watched Pinocchio and I am planning to watch The Bachelor's Vegetable Store and I started the Good Doctor again. I really liked him in Pinocchio though because his character was really cool and he did good at acting and he was like my favorite character in it so yeah. Lee Hyun WooI love Lee Hyun Woo I mean how can you not? He's so adorable! >.< I've also seen a lot of his stuff as well. I recently watched The Technicians but I think that's all I've seen him in this year. In general I've seen him in To The Beautiful You and Secretly Greatly as well and I'm planning on watching Master of Study. But yeah I've noticed that his acting is getting better and better every time I see him. He's great and I plan on watching many things that he is in. Moon Joo WonI was saving pictures and realized that this year, I have been watching quite a bit with Joo Won in it. I've been watching the Good Doctor, Bridal Mask, Tomorrow's Cantabile, and Steal My Heart. His acting is good. He is one of those actors who get really into their acting to the point that they are in character 24/7 until their filming is over. I like his acting and I like it when he plays meaner characters because he is good at it but he is good in all roles he plays. Kim Woo BinSurprising? Yeah, I agree. Anyways, I was looking at what he's in and OH MY GOODNESS! He isn't even in that much! What the heck!? And he's THIS famous!? Goodness! I'm only this shocked because I have five things I haven't seen him in! The main reason is because they are hard to find but wow. Anyways, 2015. I've seen him in The Technicians, Love Cells, and I want to watch Twenty soon. I will stop here since I just want to list what I've seen him in and he's like super amazingly famous. Choi Woo ShikThis guy though! He is a small actor but one of my favorites! I first saw him in Rooftop Prince and he kept appearing and I looked him up and now he is one of my favorite actors ever so....Yeah. This year I have watched him in Fool's Love and that's it. I watched him in more last year like Fated to Love You and Secretly, Greatly but yeah. I am planning on watching him a ton of other stuff like Pride and Prejudice and maybe Shut Up Family. BONUS: Lee Bo YoungI have only seen two of her dramas but I love her a lot. Her acting is amazing and she is really beautiful. I have watched God's Gift: 14 Days and in 2015 I am watching I Hear Your Voice. Her characters are really different but she does them amazingly! That is why I made her a bonus on my list. I hope you enjoyed this list and you check out some dramas on here, many of them are amazing and great so yeah. I'll post soon again! Bye!
Since Sara is doing a drama review of ep1 of Blood I will do a drama review of ep1 of Heard it Through the Grapevine. I saw it on Dramafever last night and remembered hearing about it and that it has Lee Joon so I decided to watch it and let me tell you, it was amazing! CastLee Joon plays as Han In Sung, a teenager who is from a wealthy family and has high expectations by his parents. In Sung gets a girl from a lower family -Seo Bom and is torn between his future and high expectations and Bom. Go Ah Sung plays Seo Bom, the girl In Sung gets pregnant and is in love with. Bom studied hard so she could have a better future and soon was accepted into an English camp where she met In Sung and fell in love with him - Not to mention her getting pregnant. Yoo Jun Sang plays Han Jeong-Ho, In Sung's father. Jeong-Ho comes from a extremely wealthy family who, for generations, have been a line of lawyers who are very important to South Korea's politics and economy. Jeong-Ho is strict and a perfectionist just like his father and grandfather. Yoo Ho-Jeong plays Choi Yeon Hee, In Sung's mother and Jeong-Ho's wife. She is intelligent and social but knows her son is burdened with his expectations, she's just never spoken about it. PlotThis drama has a sort of uncommon genre. It is a Black Comedy. If you don't know what that is then I'll explain. Now, if you've seen the Kdrama She Is Wow then it will be easy to get because that too was a Black Comedy. A Black Comedy is something that is funny but then is really dark and can be super depressing. I enjoy this genre because it's got a weird aura that I just really like for some reason. Anyways, the plot is that In Sung is a teenager who fell in love with Seo Bom who is of a lower class family. In Sung ends up getting her pregnant and then has to face his family, Seo Bom, her family, and his future. Episode One *SPOILERS*So I've only seen episode one since that's all Dramafever has but YouTube has episode two. Episode one is kind of confusing since it starts in the present of Seo Bom being eight months pregnant and about to have a baby. But then it skips around to In Sung and then it's the past and In Sung and Seo Bom are having relationship issues since they have to get into college and study but can't see each other so Seo Bom tries to cut ties with in Sung which leads to him going to see her. When he sees her it leads to her getting pregnant and then it goes back to the present. This wouldn't be so confusing if they had said that they were going back and forth but they didn't so it was a bit confusing. I fell in love with this drama because when I see Joon acting it's like "AHHHHHHHHH THE FEELSSSSSS!" and I die but by the middle of the drama I really liked it. Go Ah Sung isn't an actress that I like much just because she doesn't peek my interest but I enjoy her in this drama so far and I'm super excited to watch episode two. Anyways, I'll link the first episode in a button to Dramafever for you. I hope ypu'll check it out and love it!
Today me and Jenna are going to be doing episode reviews. I'll be taking on the new korean drama called Blood. *SPOILERS* Info:Release date: February 16-April 21 2015 Director and writer: Ki Min-Soo, Park Jae-Bum Runtime: Monday and Tuesday @ 21:55 Network: KBS2 Episodes: 20 Cast:episode 1:Episode 1 starts off pretty odd and kind of eerie. It starts off in Germany because he is in a war as a doctor doing volunteer work. Of course I did notice that the guy he was speaking to only spoke German, so why was he speaking Korean to him? and then he spoke German to him? and how did the German guy know what he was saying in Korean? Ah so many questions right from the start. As the episode goes on it pretty much just shows his entire life since he was a baby to where he is know. I really liked how they did this flashback to fill us in, it was kind of long but it was necessary to understand the rest of the drama. Some of my favorite parts was when he was figuring out what he was and that he wanted to kill everything. Then he kills is only pet. I felt when they made him kill the deer you could feel he was more afraid rather then angry. The character development was really well done in episode 1 because it shows how he changed due to the events in his life. I kind of wish we got to see more of his "normal" life but it seems there was no time for that. The one part I wish didn't happen was the stupid Twilight scene of him running through the woods. I mean really? It was like watching the same scene. I also wish he's mother didn't die but we cant all get what we want. So by the end of the episode it comes back too the beginning when he was in Germany for him too pretty much get blown up and give the look like "Screw this place, im out" and that's were episode 1 leaves off. It didn't gab my attention too much at first but I found my self wanting the next episode. So check out some screen caps of episode 1 and go check it out! WATCH EPISODE 1 HERE.After making a post yesterday I thought "Maybe I should post stuff on the other area of the site too" so I am posting on the Kdrama Blog now! I can't post on the News Blog for a while because I am so far behind on Kpop it's not even funny. I might try to whip some news up though just to post something quick though. Anywho, back to Kdramas! These are 10 Kdrama actors that I really like. Some are either super popular or just getting popular and maybe some aren't so much but yeah. Lee Min HoClassic Lee Min Ho. I don't need to say much because he's Lee Min Ho, everyone loves him. A Few Kdramas/Movies:
Lee Hyun WooDude...He's amazing. He has a killer smile, he's almost always the Guy that Never gets the Girl and he is a great actor. I mean, who can't love him? A Few Kdramas/Movies:
Park Ki WoongHe's that kind of dude that you see in a drama or movie and you like him but then he just keeps showing in up in everything you watch! But he too has a killer smile and is a great actor. A Few Kdramas/Movies:
Fun Fact: He kissed actor No Min Woo! 0o0 Lee Hong KiIdiot of FTISLAND, actor, and idiot. We all love Lee Hong Ki. Who doesn't? You can't really. He's loud, funny, makes ugly faces a lot, and looks better when he's chubby and fat! Oh and let's not forget about his fabulous nails too! He also has his own fashion brand, Skullhong! A Few Kdramas/Movies:
Park Min WooHe looks great with Park Bom - in my opinion, was on Roommate, and has a nice smile. His acting is shaky sometimes but he's still really good at it and he is a rookie but that's okay! A Few Kdramas/Movies:
Lee Jong SukMr. New-Trend! Decides to go and get all famous just as I discover who he is...IT'S NOT FAIR! Almost every time I find a new actor/actress it's like BAM! All of a sudden they're becoming big and popular. Why does that always happen like....dude, really? And not to mention that I do not ship him and Park Shin Hye or him and the girl from Doctor Stranger...I ship him and Park Bo Young like in Hot Young Bloods or him and Kim Woo Bin. WooSuk! Lol, I'm kidding. Why does he always say that he's going to stop high school roles but then he plays them again! A Few Kdramas/Movies:
Lee JoonDon't even get me started. I liked him when I first saw him and said "Oh, he's cute!" on Running Man and I like him now even though he has disbanded from MBLAQ and is now a full time actor and despite some X-Rated scenes in something he has played in before *cough* Rough Play *cough* but I still like Lee Joon. I like him as a psychopathic killer most though *couch* Gap Dong *cough*. A Few Kdramas/Movies:
Kim Woo BinI'm sorry he just looks better when he's not frozen still...I had to. Anyways, the other half of WooSuk, the good, the bad, and the handsome. His acting is great and he is just plain funny too. Not much to say except that he also lives with a great smile. A Few Kdramas/Movies:
Kim Young KwangDang it. He's another one of those guys that you see and make note of like he's cute or whatever and then...HE JUST KEEPS POPPING UP IN EVERY SINGLE THING YOU WATCH! And then before you know it he's a really great actor that you love oh so much....It's a problem for people who can't live if they have to breathe. A Few Kdramas/Movies:
Moon Joo WonAnd last but not least because I am going to have to kill myself for putting him here, Moon Joo Won. I hated, I denied, I tried and I lost. I did not like Joo Won because Sara would fangirl and squeal so much about him that I got annoyed with him but we started watching Bridal Mask recently that I slowly started liking him and his high-rise cheekbones so yeah...I lost. His acting is really good though because good actors can act while acting. I do like him most when he's like Lee Gang To though - it's from Bridal Mask. He's also a good singer. A Few Kdramas/Movies:
So I hoped that was cool and all...Yeah. Those are all great actors and you should go check them all out now because they rock so I'll post soon one day again. Bye!!!!
So since we now have a blog just for Kdramas I decided to post a drama review so it wouldn't be empty. This drama review is of School 2013! This drama takes place in a school of kids and it focuses on one class through the drama. The delinquent class(Shown in the image above eve n though some people are missing). It's the class for kids who have failed or cause trouble but there are two kids in the class who are super smart. I don't remember why but yeah. Let's start. The CastLee Jong Suk plays Go Nam Soon. He is one of the main characters in this drama. The whole class is the focus of the drama but certain people are the main story and line of the drama and Nam Soon is one of them. Nam Soon is Heung Soo's best friend since they were children. Well, ex-best friend. Kim Woo Bin plays Park Heung Soo, Go Nam Soo's ex-best friend since they were children. He is another main character in this drama with being a trouble maker and having a bad reputation since he was young. Jang Nara plays Jung In Jae, the homeroom, teacher of the main class. She is very caring towards the students in the drama and she is a boring teacher to the class but they still love her in the end. To me, she should have just been their counselor how much she gave them advice instead of teaching them. Daniel Choi plays Kang Se Chan, a former top lecturer who had to go back to teaching. I forgot why though. He ends up having to be a second homeroom teacher with In Jae, splitting up teaching the kids at certain times. But he actually teaches them instead of counseling them. Ryu Hyo Young plays Lee Kang Joo. She is one of the three girls in the class. She isn't that important of a character to me but I was putting her because she is in it as one girl's best friend and she is in certain parts a lot. Park Se Young plays Song Ha Gyeong. She is the second smartest person in the class but needed tutoring. She is Kang Joo's best friend and also a main character in this drama. These are the last of the main focused characters. From left to right it is Kwak Jung Wook as Oh Jung Ho, the bully and delinquent with family issues. In the middle is Lee Ji Hoon. He is Jung Ho's best friend but also the one who wants to set himself straight for collage. Lastly is Lee Yi Kyung, he is also Jung Ho's best friend but he doesn't really think like Ji Hoon. Instead he wants to help Jung Ho by not "betraying" him by setting himself straight so he keeps bullying kids until later when he starts to be nicer to people. The BromanceI don't even know what to say. You would think that this drama has people falling in love as teenagers who are struggling and all but nope. Nobody in this drama dates at all...Ever. Like seriously, never! Not once. At all. It's all bromances! Ji Hoon and Yi Kyung have one, Nam Soon and Heung Soo have the main one, and Ji Hoon, Yi Kyung, and Jung Ho have one, and there are more, a lot more, but those are just the main ones. The Ramen CoupleI created the name of the Ramen Couple while watching this drama. Why? Who? Well, because they always ate ramen and it was always Heung Soo and Nam Soon. Even before the drama I saw Jong Suk and Woo Bin eating ramen all the time and together and so I gave them the nickname of The Ramen Couple. Well, I hope you enjoyed that short-ish drama review. I couldn't go on after The Ramen Couple, it was just too...Yeah..Anyways, check out the rest of our site and let us know what you think. I'll post more on the Kpop Blog and NEWS Blog soon!
